  1. Create a question as per the previous instruction.

  2. In the Question Details section, select Free Text type from this drop-down list.

  3. Complete the Question Details and click on the Question Options tab.

  4. Choose from either Paragraph or WYSIWYG Editor from the Answer Display Format dropdown list.

NoteThis functionality will not work for Text or Email options.

  5. At the base of Question Options screen, select Yes for Content Loading.

  6. You will then see a new Content Loading options appear:

Let’s have a closer look at these options:

Content Loading Label:  This option allows you to set up a selection prompt for the respondent.  If using the example we looked at earlier, we would type in Choose Keywords.

Content Loading Display Type:  This option allows you to decide how the respondent will be able to select the appropriate response.  If there are lots of options to pick from, it is best to use Multiple Choice – Drop Down as the other options (if using many) won’t look good on the screen.

  7. Click the Save button at the bottom right of the screen.

  8. A new tab will then appear at the top of the Manage Global Question screen called Content Loading Items (not unlike a multiple choice, multi select or ordered preference question).

  9. Click the Content Loading Items tab and you will see the following screen:

  10. To add the different Content Loading Items, click the + Add Content Loading Item link.

  11. This will then show you the Manage Global Question Content Loading Item screen.

  12. Enter the Label (what the user will use to select), and the Content (which will be the actual content).  Here is the example of the Support item we chose before.

Note:  Like a multiple choice, multi select or ordered preference answer option, you are able to deactivate options instead of deleting by turning the Is Active option to No.

  13. Once you have entered the Content Item, click the Save button at the bottom right hand corner of the page.

  14. Once you have added all your Content Items, your screen will look like this:

  15. This question is now ready to be used as a Content Loading question.
