If the tab is a public tab that others can also use (rather than your private one), note that other users won’t have access to the tab while you are editing it.
Like reports, a clone of the dashboard wil be created for you to edit while the original remains active for any that may need to use it. Click Ok to continue. You will now be in edit mode, with access to the dashboard tab configuration. | Creating a New TabTo add a new tab, click on the |
- Note there is also an option for a KPI tab, which can be used to combine reports that use KPI metrics by advanced users. If you have specific KPI reports that you’d like to place on a tab, select this option.
This will bring up the tab configuration menu, ready for Reports to be added.
See 4big + (create) button in the top right and select Dashboard. You can then specify the dashboard name and layout. For full flexibility, choose the canvas layout as highlighted above. Specify the default data set as your custom view 1.0 to help link any filters between reports (unless your reports use a different view). See 3.
