Editing an Existing Tab

To edit an existing tab, ensure you have that tab loaded and then click on the Edit link to the right of the tabs.

Image Modified

Like reports, a clone of the dashboard wil be created for you to edit while the original remains active for any that may need to use it.

Image Modified

Click Ok to continue. You will now be in edit mode, with access to the dashboard tab configuration.

Creating a New Tab

To add a new tab, click on the big + (create) button in the top right and select Dashboard.

Image Modified

You can then specify the dashboard name and layout.

Image Modified

For full flexibility, choose the canvas layout as highlighted above. Specify the default data set as your custom view 1.0 to help link any filters between reports (unless your reports use a different view).

See 3. Basic Tab Configuration for detailed instructions on the tab configuration options.

Tip

Provided you have the access, you could also copy an existing tab and update it to make your version.
