Advanced templates for executive-level reports, summarising your key data. Requires specialised configuration for your fields and definitions.
The EXEC Template suite is available as a demo to users with the Corporate Report Writer role permission, and can be customised by these users once deployed.
EXEC vs EXEC+ Templates
Templates are configured at two levels: EXEC and EXEC+. One is simple and quick, the other is comprehensive and more adaptable.
EXEC | EXEC+ | |
---|---|---|
Purpose | I need a report on this topic | I need to understand this topic |
Reports | Single report per topic | Multiple reports per topic |
Granularity | Total volume and by job | Variable |
Customisation | Additional fields and filters only | Comprehensive |
Built on | System views combined with custom view | Imported onto your custom view |
EXEC Suite
The EXEC template suite gives you foundational reports on key recruitment data.
The EXEC templates are designed to be quick and easy to deploy. They are built on system views and at the job level so that they can be easily connected to your custom view 1.0, custom global questions, and fit your definitions.
Once copied and connected to your custom view, you will be able to add any other fields and filters to these reports as required.
They are set up as single-level reports. If you have additional requirements, like showing volume as a percentage of the total, additional categorisation, or with drill throughs, you may require the EXEC+ templates instead.

EXEC+ Suite
The EXEC+ template suite gives you multiple, advanced reports on key recruitment data.
The EXEC+ templates are designed to give comprehensive insights into your data, and thus require careful design and customisation. They need to be imported onto your custom view 1.0 and are often built at a summary level so that they can look at trends and percentages of volume over time, not just at the job and application level.
Once deployed onto your custom view, you will be able to add any other fields and filters to these reports as required.
They are predominantly set up as single-level reports. Any additional drill through report (looking at additional, related information) is best set up once the initial template has been configured.
You might choose to use all the reports for a given topic. Alternatively, you could use some of them as a basis for your own purposes.
Some may be relevant, some may not. Some may present the data exactly how you need it, others might need adapting for your circumstances.
In any case, this suite will get you started, give you some ideas, and can be expanded upon.

Accessing EXEC and EXEC+ Templates
You can access a demo of the EXEC/EXEC+ templates in one of two ways.
Browse to System Templates > EXEC Templates.
Add the EXEC Templates dashboard available in the above folder.
These will give you a demo of the reports using a combination of your data and some dummy definitions, and in some cases may not present as intended. They will need to be customised for your circumstances, fields and requirements.
Using EXEC and EXEC+ Templates
See a template (or set of templates) you’d like to use or adapt?
Contact your Client Success Manager to discuss your requirements
Acendre will deploy the templates for your customisation
You can then customise the deployed version yourself or through our Solutions team to:
update existing formatting
add fields and filters
add or adapt charts
add drill through reports
arrange final reports on a dashboard.
Each template will use example definitions for time to hire, or gender, or source etc. To change these to your metrics and definitions, you can:
update the calculated field for a given metric (eg count of females) to your definition (EXEC+ reports only)
add extra metrics to the report using your view’s built-in metrics or a calculated field and add these to the relevant chart(s) (EXEC and EXEC+ reports), before removing any example metrics no longer required.
