Which Template Do I Use?
There are a number of templates available in Acendre Analytics for different purposes and configuration levels.
These are simple reports using your custom view with a table of jobs and applications. Some have additional summary charts. Simply copy and add your custom fields and filters.
Custom Templates are built on your custom view and available in your Templates folder and on your Templates dashboard.
These are more complex reports with a focus on your key metrics and representing them in chart format. Copy and point the calculated fields to your actual fields, or ask for help from Acendre to update the template.
EXEC Templates are built on your custom view and available in your Templates folder and on your Templates dashboard.
There are system reports across a wide range of system data, from jobs currently open to user permissions. These are built on system views and contain no custom fields. Use as a report, as a template for your own version or to inspect its configuration to build your own on your custom view.
System Templates are available for Corporate Report Writers in the System Templates folder and on the System Templates dashboard.
Simple EXEC and EXEC+ Templates
Additional templates are available in the SMART/EXEC+ Templates folder.
Simple EXEC reports show you the basic components needed to build these common reports.
EXEC+ Templates expand on these designs, are more comprehensive and provide additional ideas to meet your reporting requirements.
