Once an order of merit candidate has accepted an offer, or are in the running for a role, they will need to have their OOM status updated accordingly so they don’t continually appear for other talent searches. This has to be done via the Candidate Card for the role they were placed on the Order of Merit for.

 

Here is how to remove the candidate from the Order of Merit.

 

  1. Run a search using the OOMStatus, as well as adding the Candidate’s name (or ID number).



2. Click on the Candidate ID Number to go to the Talent Card.



3. This will take you to the Talent Card.



4. Click the Application History tab.



5. This will show you all the positions the candidate has applied to, locate the role the role they were placed on the Order of Merit for.



6. Click the View Application link in the right hand side.



7. This will take you to the job-specific Candidate Card, there will be an OOM
tab appearing at the top of the screen.



8. Click the OOM tab.



9. You will see the following fields:



10. Update the OOM Status by choosing from the following statuses from the dropdown list:



  • Available – This status is used by default, this will mean that the candidate is recommended to be considered for the next available role.
  • InProgress – This status should be used for each candidate who is currently in the short listing stage for another role.
  • Placed – This status is used for candidates who accept the job offer.
  • Declined – This status is used for any candidate who should be taken off the OOM.


11. Once you have selected the status, click the Save button.
