Accessing the Candidate Card


A job-specific Candidate Card is created for each job the candidate applies for in the ACENDRE eRecruit (“eRecruit”) system. The Candidate Card allows you to: 

  • Track and manage all activity that occurs with the candidate.
  • Automatically keeps a date and time-stamped audit trail of all system and user initiated events.
  • Create and edit notes, as well as uploading additional documents to candidate files.

Here is a step-by-step guide to show you how to access and work with the Candidate Card.


  1. To access the Candidate Card, click the Candidate Search link at the top of the screen.


2. This will open up a Candidate Search pop up.


3. Enter the candidate’s first name, last name or email address into the text field provided, and click the Search button.


4. You will then see a list of all the candidates who match your search request.


5. Find the correct candidate and the job you are dealing with and click the View link under the Action(s) column.


6. Alternatively, click on the id number next to the Candidate name in the Applicant list in your job here.


7. This opens the Candidate Card.

Let’s have a closer look at the Candidate Card:


8. The section running horizontally across the top of the page contains general information about the candidate, including ID number, name, email address, Assessment status and Source.


Application Details


  1. The Application Details section provides application information specific to the role that this candidate has applied to – including Status, Flags and Group.


2. View the Application form and Resume  for this candidate by clicking the View links as below:



3. Status: This is the candidate’s current status for this vacancy.


4. Group: This indicates the Group this candidate belongs to, within this vacancy.


5. Time Zone:  These details are submitted by the candidate during the registration process.  It can be changed in the Registration Details section.


6. Flags: This text reflects the reason why this candidate has been flagged.  These appear as either a Job or Global flag.  


    1. Job Flag:   Any text in the Job flag will appear for the candidate in this job only.
    2. Global Flag:  Any text entered in the Global flag will always show up for the candidate, regardless of the job.


7.  Click Update once any change has been made.
