Submitted application diversity volumes compared over selected periods.
 All Client Solution Pages

Key purpose

Compare the breakdown of specified diversity responses for selected time periods.

Charts

  • Multi-pie chart for each related diversity metric

  • By month app submitted for filtered period + total for comparison period

  • Labels are volume/percentage only, colour indicates segment name as per chart legend

The Fancy Stuff

  • Specific metrics are set up for each separate diversity count, with multiple fields per diversity grouping

  • Comparison period data is generated via a union query that matches all other filters and fields but with its own date period and submission period label

  • Filters are linked between the master and union query so that restrictions applied to one are also applied to the other, exluding date period filters

  • Comparison period filter value is embedded in the report canvas via parameter replacement text

  • Month and comparison period results are ordered by hidden columns (year/9999) then by month org ref code (with month names numbered 1-12).

Pie and multi-pie charts are only recommended for metrics with up to four segments. Alternative chart types are stacked column or bar charts for metrics with a larger number of segments.
