As a system super user or administrator, you will be able to send a bulk email to your user base. This is quite useful when you have to notify users of a potential system downtime due to re-configuration or any essential ‘eRecruit’ bulletins.
Here is how to send a bulk email to eRecruit users:
- Click the System icon at the top right hand side of the page.
2. Under the Communication Manager heading, click the Bulk User Email link.
3. This will take you to the Bulk User Email screen.
4. Select one or more Users by clicking in the check box next to their name on the left hand side.
5. You can multi-select either all Users on the page, or all in the entire list by using these checkboxes in the grey bar here:
6. Once you have made your selections, go to the Actions dropdown list in the top right-hand corner.
7. From this list, select New Email and click GO.
8. This will display the Create & Preview Email page:
9. Using the Email Subject and Body, you are able to write up the email.
10. Alternatively you can select from a list of pre-configured System Email Templates. To access these, click the Get Email Template button in the bottom right-hand corner.
11. This will display the Select a template page.
12. Select the email template you require here. The email subject and content text will display.
13. To use this email template, click the Use Template button at the base of the page.
14. This will return you to the Create & Preview Email page, with the text from the email template visible in the email body. You can edit this text if you wish.
15. You can also attach documents to this email by clicking the Choose File button at the base of the email screen.
16. To preview this email, click the Preview button in the bottom right-hand corner.
17. This will then show a preview of how the email will look
18. To send this email, click the Send button in the bottom right-hand corner.
