Acendre Recruitment Enhancements

Feature 1: Obscured Answer Data Type

 

Description: This answer data type will allow for sensitive information to be obscured when being entered into free text fields. It will remain obscured when being accessed by candidates in the candidate portal or system users in Acendre Recruitment. This is not a new feature in the system, but it has been reviewed and refined.

How this helps: The obscured functionality introduces a new level of security for sensitive information capture. This is useful when capturing information such as tax file numbers, bank account details or residency information.

Usage Instructions:

Instructions on how to select obscured when creating a new global question are below. If you have any existing global questions that you would like updated to the obscured functionality, please contact support detailing the question, question reference and any form templates that this question needs to be updated on.

When the Question Details have been completed, the obscured functionality is available for selection on the Questions Options tab.

Acendre Analytics Enhancements

Update: Enhancements to the data available in Acendre Analytics

 

Description: Additional data has been made available in the Acendre Analytics offering. The additional data will mean that clients will be able to gain access to data that matters and build meaningful reports.

Information that has been added/enhanced:

  • New Seek Job Advert fields – fields including Job Title, Job Location, Category/sub-category and advertising details will be available in system job ad data.

  • Removal of Candidate Job Flags will now update in Acendre Analytics – if the flags are removed manually or via a rule, the update will now be reflected.

  • Job Notes will be available in system job data – any Job Notes that are added or edited can now be reported on

  • Custom Referee questions can now be added to custom views – fields included are Referee Title, Referee First Name, Referee Last Name, Referee Position, Referee Phone Number, Referee Email Address and Referee Immediate Supervisor.

  • Job Alert data has been reviewed and updated to ensure that questions can be marked as reportable in the Job Alert context, allowing reporting of client custom questions on job alert profiles.

 

Important Information Regarding Internet Explorer 11

On June 15th 2022 Microsoft have ceased support for Internet Explorer (IE) 11. HireRoad no longer offers support for this browser and do not complete testing compatibility for our releases. If users attempt to access the Acendre Recruitment product with Internet Explorer, they will receive the message “Looks like you’re using an unsupported browser. Internet Explorer 11 has been retired as of June 2022. Please access this site with an alternative browser.”

 

Fixes

Acendre Recruitment

ADR-1615: An issue was identified where candidates were unable to deactivate their job alerts from the job alert email link, resulting in a system error. A code fix has been applied to resolve the issue.

ADR-1546: When trying to package a candidate’s application, the system was unable to include the resume if an apostrophe was in the file name. This has been resolved by applying an update to remove apostrophes with file uploads.

ADR-1522: It was identified that the assessment form auto-submit function was causing entry rules to not trigger against candidates in the process. This has been resolved through a code fix.

ADR-1488: An issue was found where the candidate list was not displaying multiple listings of candidates despite the candidate being on multiple concurrent assessment steps. A code fix has been applied to rectify the issue.

ADR-1436: When creating SEEK job ads, it was found that the system was not validating the job title which had automatically pre-populated. An update was applied to ensure the system validates this information correctly.

ADR-1430: The candidate password reset system was found to be returning invalid email responses due to candidates unknowingly inputting email addresses with space characters. This issue has been addressed by applying an update to automatically remove any space characters preceding or following an email address.

ADR-1422: An issue was occurring where the system was generating errors during a candidate’s assessment form submission. A code fix has been applied to resolve the issue.

ADR-1106: Acendre internal error emails were being received by clients who had updated the contact support email address in the Recruitment system. This has since been updated so that the emails are directed internally.

ADR-1026: A rare case scenario was identified where the system would not update the job status correctly when saving job audiences. This has been addressed through a code fix.

ADR-827: An issue was identified where the system was not generating candidate packages due to candidate applications being deleted while the request was processing. A code fix has been applied to accommodate for this scenario.

ADR-1468, ADR-1467 & ADR-1466: Accessibility constraints when using group questions has been refined and the referee portal has been reviewed and updated to ensure that WCAG 2.0 AA standards are adhered to.

Acendre Analytics

ADR-1286: An issue was identified where the system was displaying incorrect information with one of the reporting fields in the SMS information database. This has been updated to display the correct information.
