Now that the activity has been created, what you will need to do is add Interview Blocks. The Interview Blocks will define the dates you can schedule the interview bookings for that particular activity. Using the graduate example, the activity would represent the overall 5 days of interviews and the block would define the individual days.
How to add an interview block:
- Click on the View Blocks link under the Action column in the Activities list for your newly created Activity.
- This will take you to the Activity Block list. This will display any activity blocks that have been created for this job.
- To add a new Activity Block, click the +Create Activity Block link here.
- This will display the Create Activity Block screen.
Name: Enter the name of the block here.
Scheduling (book in X days before): Select how many days prior to the activity, that bookings will be accepted
Date: Specify the date of the block.
Start: Specify the start time of the first slot.
End: Specify the end time of the last slot.
Capacity Per Slot: Enter the number of candidates that can book themselves into each slot.
Type / Time Segment / Venue: Use these drop-down lists to select the type, time segment, and venue for this activity block.
Note: If you select the Time Segment, the start and end time will default to the segment’s pre-configured specifications. - Click Save.
- This will return you to the Activity Block List, the new activity block will appear here.
- The final step is to activate the Activity Block by clicking the activate link under the Status Action column here.
To check how many slots are available for the block, click the Slots (0/7) link.
To add an additional day click on Add to duplicate the block. You can then click Edit/View on the block added and change the date.
Note: The amount of slots in the block are calculated based on the Type and the Time Segment.
