Both rules and assessment steps can have ‘weighting’ applied to them to provide additional scoring emphasis. For example, the role you are recruiting for may require a high level of customer service competency. You are able to weight any customer service components of the assessment process so that candidates that score well in this area will achieve a higher overall score.

  1. On the Manage Assessment Process page, locate the step that you want to apply the rule weighting to.

  2. Add rule weighting to the rules.

  1. Add weightings to the assessment steps by entering the weightings.

    The example below shows that the steps are weighted equally.
