Files that are uploaded to the Files tab can be inserted as a hyperlink on a form question. This is for forms that users complete in the back end of the system, not for the candidate portal.
Adding the link to a Global Question
Follow the steps below to insert a files hyperlink to a global question.
Click on the Files tab.
On the file you wish to link to, right click on the Download link.
Select Copy Link (the wording of this maybe different dependent on your browser).
Click on the System tab.
Click on Global Questions.
Locate the global question you wish to apply this to and click Edit.
In Question Details, highlight the text that you wish to insert the hyperlink to.
Click on the Insert/Edit Link icon.
Complete the Insert Link pop up box fields.
URL: Paste the link that has been copied in step Insert the file URL.Text to display: The link will be applied to this text (text highlighted in step 4)
Title: If you hover over the hyperlink the text inserted here will be displayed (this is optional)
Target: Select in a new window for the File to open into a new window.
Click OK once complete.
