The last step is to create the Interview Type. The Interview Type defines the specific interview or activity that you will be inviting your applicants to (e.g. 1st Round Grad Interviews, Medical Checks, etc).


How to set the Interview Type:


  1. Click on the Interview Types link.




  2. This will give you a list of pre-configured Interview Types. 




  3. To create a new Interview Type, click the +Create Type link.




  4. This will then take you to the following screen where you can define the length of the interview and configure the Invitation email.

    Slot Duration: Enter the duration of the interview.

    Slot Break Interval: Enter the time between scheduled interviews here.

    Use Invitation Email Template: Tick the box to allow invitation emails to be sent.

    Invitation Email Template From: Enter the interview from address. This is the reply to address when candidates receive the email.

    Invitation Email Template Subject: Enter the email subject.

    Invitation Email Template Body: Enter the body of the invitation email. 





    To add a merge field to the email subject click on the  icon and select the merge field.


  5. The following section will allow you to configure the confirmation email that will be sent once the candidate has selected the interview/activity timeslot.

    Use Candidate Confirmation Email Template: Tick this box to allow confirmation emails to be sent.

    Candidate Confirmation Email Template From: Enter the interview from address. This is the reply to address when candidates receive the email.

    Candidate Confirmation Email Template Subject: Enter the email subject.

    Candidate Confirmation Email Template Body: Enter the body of the invitation email.

    Default Time Segment: Select the appropriate time segment.

    Venue: Select the appropriate venue.




  6. Once you have completed the page, click the Save button in the bottom right hand corner.



    Acendre QUICK TIP: When you add an interval to the Interview Types, keep in mind that an interval will be added after each activity/ interview including the last one. If the number of interviews required does not fit into the Time Segment, then the Time Segment will need to be adjusted (increased)


  7. This will return you to the list of Interview Types, where your new Interview Type will appear.



    Now we are ready to build the Interview/Activity.
