Requisition Permissions
Acendre is proud to release a sophisticated Requisition permission feature that allows users to view and access the Requisitions that are specifically relevant to them. Previously, users could either view only those requisitions that they themselves initiated, or every requisition in the system. You are now able to set up Requisition permissions in the same way you set Job permissions. This means you can give access to a user to all requisitions that have been raised for a particular department, cost centre or region for example. The Requisition Permissions feature is significantly enhanced to empower recruiters, hiring managers and heads of department with improved visibility around recruitment and request to hire activity.
Benefits:
Improved visibility into requisition activity
Enhanced visibility into vacancies (e.g. active requests, number of vacancies)
Enhanced security and confidentiality
Requisition permission structure can now be set up to mirror job permissions
Configure requisition permissions based on your unique organisational structure
Configure requisition permissions based on area of responsibility
There is now a User Requisition Permission form within the System Forms section of the System page:
The global questions added to this form are the basis for the user permissions. Once these questions are added, requisition permissions can be added to users and user groups via the User Manager:
You are now able to assign a ‘Requisition Details’ permission that references the global questions you have added to the Requisition Permission system form:
In the example above, this user would have access to view all Requisitions associated with the Shared Services Business Unit.
New Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
Natural Talent’s new APIs extend the power of your Human Resources Management System (HRMS) and other systems.
What is an API?
Application Program Interfaces are routines and tools for building software applications – a set of requirements that govern how one application “talks” to another. They allow applications to share data and take actions on another’s behalf. APIs are a key component of Acendre’s goal of providing you with a “no- compromise” approach to talent management. We provide seamless integration to support integrated talent management, including whatever systems you require for your organisation to succeed. With this March release, Acendre introduces a new set of APIs to enhance the interoperability of Natural Talent in your ecosystem, with other HR systems you might have implemented.
Benefits:
More efficient processes through automation of data transfer in real time
Improved HR service Greater flexibility to build and tailor applications for your specific needs
Improved ability to leverage your people data, lower costs and improve productivity
Extends Natural Talent’s interoperability by providing powerful new capabilities to integrate with other 3rd -party systems, including:
o the ability to send application data from an assessment step to an external system o the ability to send data from a requisition step to an external system
o the ability to define multiple XML schemas to match the format required by your 3rd - party system and map Global Questions (GQs) within the XML
o rule setting to automate the sending of application data in a defined format
o multiple integrations per application or requisition
If you would like more information on data integration points and API capabilities, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
