Release Timing

This release will commence on Tuesday 5 th January, from 9.00 pm to 2.00am (AEDT).

You may experience downtime for up to five hours. We recommend that wherever possible, any large or critical system tasks be completed before close of business on the day of a deployment or commenced the day after.

Summary

Below provides a summary of the items included in Release 9. In the following pages you will find further details of each Release Highlights item.


Release Highlights:

ï‚· Improving the Candidate Experience: This release is all about enhancing and improving the experience for candidates when they are interacting with your Candidate Portal, be that from a desktop, tablet or other mobile device. We also understand that it is important for people to be able to access and interact with websites whilst on the move and we are delighted to now be able to provide this to you and your candidates.

In the following pages the Candidate Portal enhancements are highlighted. Many of these will be instantly available in your current portals. In order to be fully mobile device friendly, some rebranding work will need to be performed on your Candidate Portal. Your Client Success Manager will be happy to discuss this further with you, and we encourage you to contact your Client Success Manager at your earliest convenience to schedule this work.


Improving the Candidate Experience

What features are available immediately?

Below we detail some of the enhancements that you will notice in the Candidate Portal after deployment.


Improvements to the Login/Register process:

When a candidate who has registered before, tries to register again, the system will immediately notify them when they enter their email address and provide them with a link to easily login. This reduces the amount of data the candidate has to enter before finding they already have an account.

Likewise when logging in, if a candidate has not registered and created an account, the system will notify them immediately upon entering their ID (email address) and provide them with a link to register.


Privacy Policy:

The Privacy Policy step has been removed from the application workflow and is now presented as a link , reducing the amount of clicks for a user and improving the application flow. The link will appear on the job desription page as well as the registration page and by continuing on with the application, candidates are agreeing to the policy.


How to Apply text:

‘How to Apply’ text has been simplified making it clearer and more readable for candidates.


‘My Forms’ enhancement:

When accessing the My Forms tab of a candidates Profile, the Application status column has now been replaced with a Form Status Column. This provides more relevant information for the task and allows candidates to easily identify which forms they have completed, not started or in the process of completing.


‘My Emails’ enhancement:

When accessing the My Emails tab of a candidates Profile, the Action column has now been removed and emails can now be viewed by clicking on the Subject line hyperlink.


Sorting capability for Interviews:

Sorting capability has now been added for the My Interviews tab allowing candidates to sort the interview list by Job Ref/Job Name, Job Status, Status or Venue.


Application Summary enhancement:

When viewing an application summary, candidates will now be able to more easily identify which questions within the application form they have or have not answered.


Making your Candidate Portal mobile device friendly

In order to make your Candidate Portal mobile device friendly, some rebranding work will need to be performed to your current portal. Your Client Success Manager will be happy to discuss and arrange this for you.

Once this work has been completed, your candidates will be able to enjoy the following benefits:

As is consistent with many other websites, Help and Login/Logout options will be easily accessible at all times from the top right corner. Content and forms will automatically resize and reposition according to the device being used.

In order to better utilise the limited space, navigation options will change to a hamburger icon.


Information hidden due to resizing will still remain accessible to candidates by using the expand/collapse icons.


The ‘My Profile’ navigation menu can be accessed from all pages allowing fast and easy access into all areas of the candidate profile.


Sorting indicators will be available on lists, allowing users to easily identify whether columns are in ascending or descending order.


On small devices, the application workflow will have a scroll bar allowing better utilisation of space.


On fields that have select menu’s, candidates will be able to start typing inside the field to narrow down and find the appropriate option, eliminating the need to scroll through and search for the relevant answer.

Please note: this feature is only available on computers (laptops/desktops), not on mobiles or tablets
