4. New Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)

The expansion of Acendre’s API capability, which kicked off with our March release, continues with this June release. As a recap, APIs are routines and tools for building software applications – a set of requirements that govern how one application “talks” to another. They allow applications to share data and take actions on another’s behalf. APIs are a key component of Acendre’s goal of providing our customers with a “no-compromise” approach to talent management. We provide seamless integration to support integrated talent management, including whatever systems clients require for their organisations to succeed. With this June release, Acendre introduces a new set of import APIs to enhance the interoperability of the Acendre Integrated Talent Management solution, allowing other HR systems to import data into the Acendre applications.

If you would like more information on data integration points and API capabilities, please contact your Client Success Manager.

5. Global Question Sets

This capability enhances the setup of questions for Recruitment users, significantly improving usability. Rather than set up dynamic relationships (parent / child, dynamically related answer options etc) between global questions form-by-form, the process is greatly simplified by the ability to ‘template’ sets of these questions and making them available for re-use. Global Questions can now be grouped together and then added to a form with a single action.

5.1 Benefits at-a-glance

ï‚· Faster form setup

ï‚· Saves duplication of configuration across many forms

ï‚· HR Specialists save time in building forms - application forms, assessment forms, requisition forms

ï‚· If Acendre personnel are building forms for you, this now takes significantly less time and effort

ï‚· Higher-quality for configuration due to reduced potential for human error

5.2 Enhancements at-a-glance

ï‚· New Question Sets allow groups of Global Questions to be added to forms via a single action

ï‚· Groupings can include all form-level configurations like dynamic parent/child relationships and dynamically related answer options.

The ability to configure Global Question sets is a function permission, so this will need to be set before you can begin setting these up.

1. Once you have this permission, you will see this new option on the System page here:

2. Click this link and then hit this:

3. Name this set and build it out with Global Questions as you would with any other form

4. When you want to add this question set to a form, click the Add global question link:

5. As you add this global question, you will see a confirmation message:

6. This allows you to add the Question set, or just the individual question if required.

7. If any of the questions exist on the form already, you will see the following message:

6. Apply with SEEK

This release improves the candidate experience when applying for a vacancy on SEEK, Australia’s largest job board, as the application form can now prefill with information from the candidate’s SEEK profile, including personal details, highest level of education, application attachments such as resume, etc.

6.1 Benefits at-a-glance

ï‚· Improved candidate experience for those using SEEK

ï‚· Fewer candidate drop outs

ï‚· Improved experience for candidates applying via mobile device

There are 3 pre-conditions to maximise this feature:

ï‚· You must have a SEEK account

ï‚· You must have the Apply with SEEK feature activated (please contact your Client Success Manager if you are interested)

ï‚· Candidates must apply to the vacancy via SEEK

For candidates applying to these vacancies, they will now have the ability to use this new Apply with SEEK function:
