1. Enabling Broadcasts

Broadcasts can be enabled on a report by editing the distribution settings when saving the report. If broadcasts aren't being received by some users, check these settings.


  1. At a minimum, ensure that Broadcast is enabled. You can also enable Personal Broadcast to set a broadcast directly to yourself.
  2. Edit the Email & Broadcast Security. To ensure any recipient can receive the report, set this to Unsecure.
    • Unsecure: broadcast will send to all users and email addresses
    • All Users: broadcast will only send to recognised Analytics users
    • Validated Users: broadcast will only send to recognised Analytics users with permission to the sub-folder where the report is stored

Ensure you save your changes.


In this section

Unless you need to ensure the security of your report, when you turn Broadcasts on make sure you set the security to Unsecure so that all users or email addresses added to the broadcast will receive it.
