Summary
User Interface Improvements and Updates
In this month’s deployment we have continued to make updates to the eRecruit User Interface. Some of these are following feedback we received from customers after the deployment of the new User Interface in November last year and others are part of our ongoing project to improve the user experience.
In this deployment, you will notice the following updates:
ï‚· A new look Interview Scheduler: This module has been re-designed with an updated layout and the addition of an Interview calendar, providing users with improved visibility of upcoming interviews.
ï‚· Dashboard widgets: the state (collapsed/expended/closed) and order of Dashboard widgets will now be saved and remain that way until changed again by the user.
ï‚· Extending the use of icons to the Messages Tab, providing consistency through the product.
ï‚· New Application and Resume icons.
ï‚· Improvements to the alignment of the Personal Details Form on the Candidate Card.
A New Look Interview Scheduler
Customers that use the Interview Scheduler will notice an improved layout that brings this area of the system into line with the new User Interface. The components of the Interview Scheduler have been changed from links to tabs and placed in a more logical order for ease of use when setting up interviews.
A calendar showing upcoming interviews has also been added and depending on screen resolution and device will either appear beside or below the Scheduler tabs.
The Interview calendar will show Interview Blocks where candidates have been Invited to Interview and are colour coded according to status: Green= Active; Blue = Future; and Greyed out = Past. Hovering over an Interview Block will also display further details.
Interview Blocks can be seen for the current and next month by using the buttons located at the bottom of the calendar.
NOTE: All users with Module permission to the Activity Scheduler will have visibility of the Interview Calendar and will see all Interview Blocks.
Dashboard Widgets
If a user has personalised their Dashboard by collapsing, expanding, closing or repositioning the widgets available, these settings will now be saved. When returning to the Dashboard in the same session or logging back into a new session, these saved settings will remain until changed by the user.
Consistent icons
In the November release we introduced new Action icons to the system and the use of these continues to be extended throughout the system, providing a consistent experience for users.
New Application and Resume icons
In order to help users easily distinguish between candidate Application and Resume documents, we have introduced two new icons throughout the system.
Personal Details Form Alignment
Following feedback from customers, we have made some improvements to the alignment of certain elements within the Personal Details form located on the Candidate Card. View History links and Information icons have been relocated closer to the associated question. Space has been reduced under file upload questions and corrections made to the horizontal alignment of question labels.
NOTE: When configuring Global Questions it is recommended that Horizontal Input Orientation be used in order to reduce the length of forms.
