User Management FAQ's

You will need to contact the Service Desk. As they can only change user's usernames.
- Click on the System tab.
- Click User Manager.
- Search for the user.
- Edit the users profile.
- In the actions menu (on the right hand side of the page) click change password.
- Set a new password for the user.
Due to privacy reasons you cannot send an email with the users password. You will need to send them an email letting them know what username and password has been setup. When changing a users password or when setting up a new user select 'must change password on next login'. This will prompt the user to set a new password once they login.
A user can only be in one user group.
A user can be given individual permissions within their own individual profile. This will overwrite the access inherited from their user group.
A user will inherit the role permissions from their usergroup. However if the user is acting in another position or requires the ability to do additional approvals they can be given permission from their own individual user profile.
- Click on the systems tab.
- Click on User Manager.
- Search for the user.
- Click Edit to access their profile.
- Click on Role Permissions on the right hand side menu.
- Select the additional roles for the user.
- Click on the Systems tab.
- Click on User Manager.
- Search for the user in the list. You can type in the users name in the Keywords box and click Search.
- Once you have found the user click Edit on their profile.
- Change the users status to 'Deleted".
- Change the users expiry date the date you expired them. This way you know the date they have been expired.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save.
