Summary
Filtering Email Templates
What It Is: A filter option has been added to the Email Template list allowing users to filter by Email Template Type.
Ad Hoc User/Candidate Emails: Configuration option for the reply email address
What It Is: When creating Ad Hoc User and Ad Hoc Candidate email templates, a new option is provided that will determine the email address used when replying to an email.
Changes to word validation on Free Text Global Questions
What It Is: The word limit option will no longer be available on Free Text Global Questions when selecting ‘Text’ as the Answer Display Format. Character limits will remain available, with a maximum length of 900 characters. Where word limits are required, ‘Paragraph’ or ‘WYSIWYG Editor’ should be selected in Answer Display Format.
Updates when entering a Paper Applicant
What It Is: When entering a Paper Applicant with ‘No Access’, input of an email address will now be mandatory. This ensures that applicants are still able to receive communications via the system. In addition to this, the Password field will no longer appear when adding a ‘No Access’ paper applicant.
Filtering Email Templates
In order to assist users in finding the correct email template, we have added a filter to the Email Type Description column. This will allow users to select to show a particular Email Type Only e.g. Ad Hoc User.
Ad Hoc User/Candidate Emails: Configuration option for the reply email address
When creating/editing Ad Hoc User and Ad Hoc Candidate email templates, a new configuration option ‘Reply Address Type’ is provided. This option determines what email address will be used when a user chooses to reply to an email. By selecting the option ‘Users Email Address’, when an email is sent using the template, the Reply email address will be that of the user sending the email.
By selecting the option ‘Configured Email Address’, when an email is sent using the template, the Reply email address will be that which is configured in the ‘Reply to’ field of the template.
We have also renamed the ‘Email From’ field to ‘Reply To’ to avoid any confusion around the purpose of this field.
Changes to word validation on Free Text Global Questions
The word validation option will no longer be available on Free Text Global Questions when selecting ‘Text’ as the Answer Display Format. This type of Answer Display Format is designed to hold minimal content and therefore setting a word limit will often result in an invalid entry. Character limits will remain available, with a maximum length of 900 characters.
Where word limits are required, Global Questions using ‘Paragraph’ or ‘WYSIWYG Editor’ as the Answer Display Format should be used.
Existing Free Text Global Questions that have ‘Text’ nominated as the Answer Display Format with a Word validation selected with be automatically updated to have the maximum Character validation of 900 characters.
Updates when entering a Paper Applicant
Some small alterations have been made when entering a Paper Applicant with ‘No Access’. Input of an email address will now be mandatory. This ensures that applicants are still able to receive communications via the system. In addition to this, the Password field will no longer appear when adding a ‘No Access’ paper applicant.
