Changing System Captions

A system caption can be a system tab, module name, label, action link that a user can see.

Your organisation may call a ‘Requisition’ a ‘Request to Recruit’ therefore the Requisition tab caption can be changed to ‘Request to Recruit’ to reflect your organisations language.

Below are some examples of captions that are commonly changed:

Follow the steps below to change a caption:

1. Identify the caption name to be updated. To do this go to the page in the system where you see the caption.

2. In the top right-hand corner of the­­ screen click on the Help tab.

3. Click Show/Hide Caption Names.

4. Note down the caption name.

5. To exit out of the Show/Hide Caption Name view click on the Help tab and click Show/Hide Caption Name again.

6. Click on the System tab.

7. Click on the System tab.

8. Click on Languages. If you do not have this option, please contact the Acendre Support Team.

9. Click Edit Captions in the en-AU row.

10. In the Search Text field enter in the caption name you noted down and click Search.

11. In the Caption Value field insert the new caption text e.g. Create New Request.

12. Click Save.
