Adding new answer options to a global question

Answer options can be added to any pre-existing question that falls under one of the following question types:

• Multiple choice

• Multi select

• Group question

• Ordered preference list

Follow the steps below to add answer options to a pre-existing global question.

1. Navigate to the System tab.
   
   

   Open

   

2. Click Global Questions.
   
   

   Open

   

3. Locate the global question and click Edit.
   
   

4. Navigate to the Answer Options tab.
   
   

5. Click +Add New Answers.
   
   

6. Enter the answer option. Ten options can be added at any one time. More than ten can be added to do this click save then click +Add New Answer.

7. Update on new instances only? If you select;
   Yes – the answer option added will only update all new requisitions and job instances. A new instance can be a requisition or job that is created after the answer option is added.
   e.g. the answer option will not show a requisition that was created last month and is still going through
   No – the answer option will be added to all past, present and future requisitions or jobs.
   e.g. the answer will now be visible on a job created last week that is currently advertised
   
   

8. Click Save to finalise.
