Editing global question answer options on a form
The answer options of a global question can be controlled at the form level. This enables you to select answer options that should only be visible for a specific job or a template.
How this helps: In an example of two current jobs that will be available at different locations, one is at Melbourne CBD or Geelong and the other in Sydney CBD or Penrith. The same global question of "Location Preference" can be used on both jobs, but the answer options that appear to candidates during application submission can be controlled i.e. one job will display Melbourne CBD and Geelong and the other will display Sydney CBD and Penrith, but the same global question will be used on both.
Â
The example below will demonstrate how this is done for an open job’s application form:
Â
Navigate to the Job Card.
Hover over the Application Forms tab.
Click Edit Application Form.
Locate the global question on the form and click Edit.
Navigate to the Answer Options tab.
Deselect the checkbox in the Display Answer? column for the answers that you do not wish to show.
Click Save to finalise.
To return to the application form Manage Form on the breadcrumb trail.
To preview the changes made click Preview Form.
Navigate to the question to view how it will appear to a candidate.
Â
Please Note:
Editing the display of an answer option on a single job will not make the change to the template.
Editing the display of an answer option on a Job Template / Form Template will ensure the change appears for all Jobs created from the template following the change being made. This will not apply retrospectively to a job previously created (prior to the change).
