Configuring the Job Creation Wizard

During the Job Creation process, you have the ability to include or omit certain job creation wizard steps if required.  These steps include sourcing, roles, and selection criteria to name a few.

Here is how you can edit the Job Creation Wizard (JCW):

  1. Hover your cursor over the Job Details menu tab and click the Job Creation Wizard option.  Select this option.

  2. This will take you to the Job Creation Wizard screen.

Let’s have a closer look at each Job Creation process step:

      • Job Details:  This step is a mandatory step, and allows the Job Creator to complete the basic information about the position (Job Reference, Job Title, Job Overview, Highlights and Keywords), as well as any specific fields that may pre-populate from the Requisition Process.

      • Talent Search:  This step allows the Job Creator to search through the Talent Warehouse and apply a candidate to the position during the Job Creation process.

      • Sourcing:  This step allows the Job Creator to advertise the role on the website, setting the opening and closing dates, as well as other job boards like Seek or MyCareer.

      • Criteria:  This step allows the Job Creator to input the selection criteria, which will populate through to the Application Form and Assessment Process Manager (APM).

      • Application Form:  This step allows the Job Creator to edit or select the Pre Application and Application Forms.

      • Groups:  This step allows the Job Creator to add/edit groups for assessment.

      • Assessment:  This step allows the Job Creator to edit the Assessment Process Manager (APM).

      • Emails:  This step allows the Job Creator to edit the automatic candidate emails.

      • Roles:  This step allows the Job Creator to choose which users will be assigned to different roles in the Assessment Process Manager (APM).

  3. If you wish to delete a step from the Job Creation Wizard (JCW), click the Delete link under the Action column.

As the Job Details step is mandatory, you are unable to delete it from the Job Creation Wizard.

  4. Once you have deleted a step from the process, it will be then put outside the workflow.

  5. If you would like to re-order the Job Creation Wizard steps, click on the Up or Down arrows under the Move column.

  6. A typical Job Creation Wizard will look like this:

  7. If you would like to reset the Job Creation Workflow, click the + Resynchronise with Default Job Creation Wizard link. This will add in all steps that were deleted.
