Enhancements to the application for the iPad and iPhone

Enhancements to the iPad and iPhone application that deliver a unique consumer-oriented mobile reporting and analytics experience includes:

• A compelling and intuitive UI: supports the iPad’s native multi-touch interface and has been engineered to take full advantage of the iPad’s large screen. Users can see all their reports in one place. View favourites and dashboard tabs at a glance and swipe across the screen to find the information you want.

• Offline mode: provides the user with the option to store results on their mobile device.

• Drill anywhere functionality: Users can now utilize the drill anywhere functionality on reports accessed from their iPhone or iPad.

• Yellowfin ‘Whiteboard’: The Yellowfin ‘Whiteboard’ feature takes advantage of the iPad and iPhone’s native multi-touch interface, allowing users to draw (with their finger) on a report to highlight important information, trends and outliers. This feature functions like a screen shot / capture, allowing the resultant annotation to be shared with other users.

Upgraded UI: Improved navigation and user experience

This upgrade includes a restyled UI that offers enhanced navigability, usability and interactivity, and empowers users with the ability to perform independent report building. Notable points include:

• Enhanced drag and drop report building: Enhanced Menu Bars throughout the system provide users with simpler navigation options. The Report Builder menus have been grouped into more logical sets, aiding the user, and the Dashboard Menu now has an Administration drop down providing shortcuts to commonly used functions.

• Restyled menu bar and menu options.

• New report preview options: The Report List and Report Search functions now contain thumbnail images of each report, making the identification of content simpler.

Better data analysis

Major upgrades to drill capabilities make it easier to obtain deeper, faster insight. New additions include:

• Drill anywhere capability: Drill down to a range of enabled drill anywhere dimensions without the use of a predefined hierarchy.

• Multiple drill through report prompt: Set up links to multiple child reports on one hyperlink field.
