Release 20.07.2011

Available Wednesday 20 July 2011

This deployment will occur on the evening of Tuesday 19th July between 6.00pm and 8.00pm (AEST). During this time, Users may experience downtime for up to 2 minutes. Whilst this downtime is minimal, we recommend that wherever possible, any large or critical system tasks be completed before close of business on the day of a deployment or commenced the day after. If you have any further queries, please contact your Support Team on 1800 642 638.

Resend Task Emails within a Requisition:  Helping infrequent Users know that they have Tasks to complete by resending Task emails when a Requisition process is rolled back.

Task Candidate List Visibility within an Assessment form: Allowing Users consistent, easy access to the Task Candidate List from within an Assessment form.

Enhancement to the Activity Scheduler Filter: Improving the functionality of the Activity Scheduler Filter allowing simpler identification of tickets assigned to candidates within a Job context.

Improved detail within the Global Question Reports configuration tab: Helping Users configure Global Questions in the right context for their reporting needs.

Additional New Views Reporting Briefing

 As you may be aware we have been steadily releasing the new reporting views to all customers since early June. This month, to assist customers who may have missed the initial briefing sessions, we will be running another web conference on New Views and Reporting. To register your interest, log into the User Community and respond to the discussion item.

Ability to Search on Inactive answer options

Following on from customer feedback, we are delighted to announce an improvement to Talent Search functionality, allowing Users to search for candidates who have responded to answer options which have been made Inactive.  Users are currently able to configure answer options as Inactive on the following question types:

  • Multi Select
  • Multi Choice
  • Ordered Preference List

Previously, when an Answer option was changed from Active to Inactive, Users were not able to search for candidates who had responded to the now Inactive Answer.

Following this release, Inactive answer options will appear for selection within the search criteria, providing access to all candidates relevant to the Search and within the database.  The Inactive status of the answer option will be clearly displayed alongside the answer value to ensure the User is clear on its status.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Remember, Super Users are able to restrict Talent Search Results by User and User Group limiting Users’ access to confidential candidates.

Resend Task Emails from within a Requisition on Roll back

 Currently, the System provides Users with the ability to resend Task Emails from within the Assessment Process Manager on roll back. We have extended this capability to the Requisition workflow. By resending Task Emails Super Users will be confident that the Task Owner will be advised of the need to recomplete or resubmit their Task with the changes required.

Working within the configuration screen, Users should be able to identify a Step which has a Roll back Rule.

By selecting the Roll back Rule, Users will then be able to manage the Rule and select the Roll back Action.

A check box will then be provided allowing Users to select whether Task Emails are re-sent to Users who are aligned to the Requisition step you are rolling back to.

IMPORTANT NOTE: By selecting this option, a Task Email will always be sent to the Task Owner of the step you are rolling back to. Please consider carefully the need to resend the Task email in the context of the step and the set up of the rules.

Task Candidate List visibility within an Assessment Form

 Users will be familiar with the Task Candidate Link being displayed in Assessment Forms when Assessment Forms are accessed:

  • via the “Assess” link for an individual candidate on the Task Candidate List;
  • via the “The Complete Assessment Form” action on the Task Candidate List;
  • via the “View Form” link for an individual candidate on the Task Candidate List.

Responding to User feedback, the link will now be shown anytime an Assessment Form is being accessed. This will ensure infrequent Users can easily return to the Task Candidate List and complete the next Task required of them.

Please note that there is an exception to this display. Specifically, if the Single Sign On configuration option to log out Users after the Task is completed is enabled, and the form is being accessed from the Single Sign On task link within the Task Notification Email, then the link will not be shown.

Filter Enhancements within Activity Scheduler

 To improve usability we have enhanced the Filter list within the Activity Scheduler allowing the User to easily identify candidates and the status of their Tickets within a specific Job. Within the Candidate List of a Job, the Ticket column will display for a candidate:

  • Yes – if the candidate has at least one ticket for an activity within the job.
  • No – if the candidate does not have any tickets for the activities within the job.

The filter on the Ticket column will display as follows:

Activity Scheduler is a feature allowing Users to easily create, manage and schedule candidates for Assessment Centres and Interviews. If you are interested in learning more about the Activity Scheduler please contact your Account Manager.

Changes to the Help text within Global Question Report Options

In this deployment we are updating the Help text when Users are configuring the Report Options for Global questions. We are hoping this will help Users understand how to select the right context for the Global question for the right report.  From Wednesday 20th July Users will see the following:

Users will note that Information Icons have been provided alongside each check box to provide more detailed information regarding the reporting context option.
