Upcoming Release

In the October deployment we are working to release PDF packaging from within Talent Search, allowing you to easily package candidates and their application forms from either the Candidate or Applicant results page.

Improved visibility in the Reassign Task Function

The Reassign Task Function is a great tool to manage people’s tasks when they are unable to complete their activity. To improve the usability of this feature we have changed the way tasks are displayed by incorporating the Job Reference. Working within the User Card, select Reassign User Tasks.

The system will respond displaying a list of Jobs and their matching Job Reference ensuring that the user can easily identify the Job which requires reassignment of the Tasks.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Reassign User Tasks is a Permission based function and can be activated within the Function Permissions Manager of the User Card or User Group.

Enhancement when creating a Paper Based Application

Creating a Paper Based Application can assist you in managing new candidates who have not applied to the role via the Candidate Portal. To ensure that access is given to the candidate for future roles or tasks within the job, we have changed the default Candidate Access selection within the Enter Paper Application Screen from No Access to Normal Access. Users can then choose No Access as they are creating the application.

Duplicate an Expired Seek Advertisement

Working within the Sourcing tab, current functionality allows you to duplicate an advertisement, edit and then post the advertisement if it is at open or draft status.

We have extended this functionality ensuring that when you duplicate an ad with a status of Expired – Applications Closed you will also be able to amend the advertisement and change the Job Ad Status.

This will make your life easier by reducing the need to cut and paste ad details from the original ad to a new ad in a newly re-opened Job.

Changes to your Seek Standout Advertisement Configuration

Seek Stand Out ads allow you to highlight your role to potential applicants on Seek’s job board. This feature is optional and therefore configurable within your solution. To ensure that the right job is advertised using the Stand Out feature we have made this question Mandatory ensuring that the user actively decides whether a Seek Stand Out is required.

Seek Executive Retirement

As you may be aware Seek have decided to retire their Seek Executive Job Board on October 2 2011. To ensure a smooth transition for our customers using Seek Executive we will be switching off the ability to post new advertisements to Seek Executive from September 20th.

Jobs live on that date will continue to be advertised on Seek Executive until Seek switch it off on October 2, after which, they will remain on Seek’s main job board until they expire.

Please note: Users will also not be able to edit existing ads posted on Seek Executive during the transition (20 September – October 18th).

From Wednesday 21st September users will no longer be able to select either the Seek Executive or Main Executive from the Classification drop down menu.

From October 18th new classifications will be available to post jobs under the new Executive classifications.
