Seek Executive Retirement: Seek have decided to switch off their Executive Jobs website we describe how this is going to affect you and your ads.
Send candidates an email from within the Assessment Process Manager
Keeping candidates informed of where a recruitment process is up to can often be challenging in a busy day. To make your life easier we have developed the ability to send candidates an email off a rule within the Assessment Process Manager (APM). We recommend using this for keeping candidates informed of the status of an assessment or to remind them to complete a task outside of the eRecruit system.
IMPORTANT As the email cannot be retrieved once it has been sent we do not recommend managing unsuccessful candidates using this feature.Â
Working within the Communication Manager Users will now be able to create a new Email Template called Candidate APM.
Having created your template and confirmed that you are happy with the message you will then need to apply the template to the relevant step within the Assessment Process Manager.
Working within the Manage Assessment Process, identify the Step which you want to add the action to by creating a Rule.
When you have created the Rule and configured how the action will apply select the Action button to nominate the Email Template to be applied.
The System will respond providing you with the opportunity to select the Action Type, Email Candidate.
Once you have selected the Action Type the System will then respond providing you with the opportunity to select the Assessment Process Email Template.
After selecting the email template you wish to assign to the Action, you will have the chance to view and make amendments if necessary. Once completed, click ‘Save and Review’ to see a preview of the email.
The System will then allow you to return back to the now configured Action and Rule to confirm that you are happy with the configuration.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Candidate emails should only be used for communicating the Status of a particular process within the Assessment and not for redirecting unsuccessful candidates or managing candidate tasks within the APM.
UniJobs Integration
NGA.NET are delighted to announce a new Job Board integration with UniJobs. Advertising academic, research, management and administration roles you will be able to seamlessly post to UniJobs from your eRecruit system. If you would like to know more about how to purchase and switch this feature on please contact your Account Manager on 1800 642 638.
Changes within the Messages tab
In this deployment we are improving the storage and management of your requests for data that are processed and stored within the Messages tab. From Tuesday 16th August users will no longer be able to delete a completed batch request within the Messages tab.
Further we have increased the storage of these messages from 28 days to 6 months. Both of these changes will improve our ability to provide you with a clear consistent audit trail on data as it has been requested by users within the System.
With the removal of the delete button the Messages tab will now display as shown below.
Seek Executive Retirement
As you may be aware Seek are retiring their Seek Executive Job Board on October 2nd 2011. Jobs previously advertised on Seek Executive will now be automatically classified under new Classifications and Sub-Classifications such as a Chief Executive or General Manager on their main website.
To ensure a smooth transition for our customers using Seek Executive we will be switching off the ability to post new Jobs to Seek Executive from September 20th. Jobs currently live will continue to be advertised on Seek Executive and when Seek switch it off on October 2nd the job advertisements will be transitioned onto the main Seek job board. From October 18th  the new classifications will be available to you within eRecruit.
