Rollback to Step

This action is used to connect the rule to the Decline & Amend option of the decision question.   Add this rule to each approval step if required. After selecting the source and decision question for this rule, you will need to add the action. After clicking the Add Action link, the Action Type list will display.



  1. From this Action Type dropdown list, select Rollback to Step.

     



  2. From this list, select which step you want to rollback the requisition to. 




  3. Once you have chosen the rollback step, click the Save button at the bottom right hand corner.




  4. The action will now appear at the base of the Manage Rule screen:




  5. Return to the Manage Requisition Process by clicking the Requisition Process Template link at the top of the screen:



    Once you have defined the Rollback action of Decline and Amend rule, you will need to configure the action to notify the recipient that they need to amend their request.  This is done using the Email action.
