Release 19.08.2010
Available Thursday 19 August 2010
Â
NGA.NET are excited to announce 4 new enhancements to your eRecruit system:
- Visibility of Users assigned to roles
- Multilingual Internationalisation update
- Seek Integration
- CSV import changes
Â
This release note also provides details of future changes to the Candidate Portal. These changes are scheduled for the 15th September deployment and are being completed as part of our integration with our test provider partner PreVisor.Â
Visibility of Users assigned to roles
This feature is available from Thursday 19th August, in two areas of the system -Task List and Requisition Steps. This will enhance the usability of your system by allowing easy identification of Users assigned to roles.
Â
- Task List: the first initial and last name of the individual User that tasks are assigned to will be visible in the Assigned To column in the task list tab.
2.Requisition Steps: Â Users who can access the Configuration Log will now be able to access a link where they can view role assignments.
- Assign Role Step:Â New link View Role Assignments has been added to the Action column.
b. Assign User Step: New link View User Assignments has been added to the Action column.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Role form is a consistent form. When you select view form, you will always view the latest Role form (ie. There are two Role Forms in the requisition process, one at step 2 and one at step 4. If step 4 has been completed and a User selects View Role Assignments at step 2, they will see the selection from step 4).Â
Multilingual Internationalisation Update
We are pleased to announce that as a result of the feedback received when we rolled out the Multilingual Internationalisation changes, as of Thursday 19th August, the Region and Language fields will be removed from the Candidate Registration form and the Candidate Card for all systems that only have one language enabled.
The Time zone field however, will continue to be available on the Candidate Registration form and the Candidate Card, as this has a wider connection to candidate care. This also allows for the open and close times of jobs to be displayed in the correct time zone for each candidate.
Seek Integration Part 2
NGA.NET Integration Partner Seek has made some changes that will impact NGA.NET Customers:
Â
- New State field has been added
- New Classifications & Locations introduced
- Introduction of Sub-Classification relevance to Location
- Market Segments have changed, there are only 4 options available
CSV Import changes
Â
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: changes to the CSV Import function.
Â
We have identified that the CSV importation of larger files into the Assessment Process Manager (APM) had significant risks associated when numbers exceeded 100 candidates.
A cap has been placed so only 100 candidates can be imported at the one time. We are continuing to review our ability to improve this, as we are conscious that customers require the ability to import large numbers of candidates.
We expect to resolve this matter as part of our continual performance improvement project.
