Impersonate User capability
We know that all our customers will be as excited as we are that the ‘Impersonate User’ capability is back. There have been some changes made in order to ensure that the use of this functionality does not cause any data issues in moving processes through. The ‘Impersonate User’ functionality will be available for all Users, who have access to the User Manager Module with permissions enabled to ‘Impersonate User’.
When impersonating a User, all actions performed will be recorded in eRecruit logs as being performed by the User being impersonated.
Each time a User clicks on the ‘Impersonate User’ link from the Manage User screen they will see a pop up message:
When the ‘End user impersonation’ link is clicked
Users can also expect to see another pop up message when they are about to end User impersonation:
PLEASE NOTE: When User impersonation is being performed, the ‘Impersonate User’ link will not be displayed in the Manage User screen. This is done to ensure that a User cannot impersonate a User whilst impersonating another User.
Updating Audience from Job Details form
We’ve received feedback from our customers about wanting to be able to easily update the Audiences when making changes to the Job Details form. In response to this feedback, we have introduced a new functionality allowing customers this option.
In light of the new functionality, when Job Overview, Job Highlights or Job Title is updated on the Job Card and you save, you now have the option to update the Audiences.
Candidate Portal changes
To improve visibility of the Candidate Portal, we are making some changes to the My History section.
These changes are designed to improve visibility of information as well as making navigation easier for candidates.
The “My History” page has had a name change and will now be called “My Profile”.
When the My Profile tab is selected, the screen will look like this:
The Candidate will be able to access different tabs detailing:
- My Job Applications – Candidates will be presented with a summary of their Job Applications within the My Profile screen. Applications will be sorted via Job Status and then Application Status by default.
- My Forms – Candidates will be presented with a summary of all their available forms. I.e. Offer Letter, Onboarding etc. Forms will be sorted by Job Status and then Application Status by default.
- My Emails – Candidates will be presented with a summary of all emails they have been sent from the eRecruit system. Emails will be sorted by Job Status then Date then Sent by default.
- My Tests – Candidates will be presented with a summary of all Jobs where they have been invited to complete a Test Provider assessment. Tests will be sorted by Job Status and then Job Name by default.
- My Interviews – Candidates will be presented with a summary of all Jobs where interviews have been scheduled, and will be sorted by Job Status and then Job Name by default.
- My Details – Candidates will be presented with the details that they completed during registration and will have the option to update details if required.
Restrict Talent Search results
Customers want to be able to restrict which candidates Users are able to search on. We have developed a new function called Restrict Talent Search to enable this.
Restrict Talent Search is set up within the individual User card or Usergroup.
When this has being configured and a Talent Search is run, results will only display candidates based on the restrictions Users have been given.
How is this set up? From within the User card, or User Group card there will be a new ‘Restrict Talent Search Results’ option, when this is selected, Talent Search Restrictions can be set up.
The User card will look like this, showing the new link where restrictions are managed.
The User Group will look like this, also showing the new link where restrictions are managed.
There are different types of criteria that can be used to set the restrictions. When selecting a criteria, a child question will display, allowing you to select the specific restriction.
For example, when the criteria “Audience Type” is selected a second option will display allowing selection of a specific Audience. Once saved, the User will only be able to search on candidates who applied to that Audience.
The different restriction types are:
When the configuration is completed, Users will see a message which confirms that the restrictions have been saved.
When a User has restrictions set on their Talent Search, they will see the following screen after conducting a search.
If there are no restrictions set to a User the screen will look like this
Global Flags
Changes have been made to both Talent Search and Talent Card to include Global Flag values.
TALENT SEARCH
A Global Flag column has been added to the Talent Search results list, between Documents and Job Name.
This column will display Candidates’ Global Flag value and will be included in search results by default.
PLEASE NOTE: this column will be available when doing a Talent Search in both the Talent Module and New Job Creation workflow.
To exclude this column from search results, click ‘Select List Columns’ link, on the right hand side of the page.
Users will be able to choose columns that they wish to omit from their results when doing a Talent Search.
TALENT CARD
Global Flag values are also available on the Talent Cards.
As of Thursday, 30 September all Super Users will have the ability to change Global Flags from the Talent Search screen. All other Users that need to be able to change Global Flags from the Talent Search can have permissions allocated using User Defined Views.
For more information on User Defined Views, please contact the NGA.NET Support Team on 1800 642 638 or email support@nga.net.au
PreVisor Integration
Great news! Integration with PreVisor has been completed; this means that customers that have a relationship with PreVisor to undertake their psychometric and other job testing can have that information automatically populated into eRecruit.
How does this integration work? Candidates will be invited via the candidate portal to complete tests, when testing is completed the results will be updated automatically into the assessment matrix of the eRecruit system.
If you would like more information about how to set up a PreVisor integration, please contact your Account Manager.
