Changeable Headers for Back End Users

New development has been completed to enable groups of users (as well as individuals) to only see items in the eRecruit header they need to see using User Defined Views.

This is now the same functionality as the Talent and Candidate Card and is particularly useful for Vendor Users.

How does this work

  1. The eRecruit header appears at the top of the screen when you are using the back end and allows the user to access pages such as Home, Tasks and quick links. Quick links allow users to search for candidates and users, change settings, access the User Community and online Help too and leave Feedback.

Now we can change what you can see.

Note: The modules headings are defined using the Modules and Functions options in the Manage User or Manage User Group pages.

 2. To assign User Defined Views for Headers, when editing a user or a user group, you can now choose what options they will see at the top of the page of eRecruit by clicking the Assign User Defined Views link on the right hand side of the page.

3.You will then be able to choose the type of header access using the Header UDV dropdown list.

4. Click the Save button.

5. When the user next logs in, they will only see the items in the Header you want them to view.  In this example, we have taken away Home and the ability to search for Jobs or Candidates.

Super users will have the ability to configure User Defined Views, contact an NGA.NET Support Consultant for more information.
